Lately

First off I want to thank everyone who sent me warm wishes for me and my boyfriend's anniversary on Friday! Your comments truly made me smile so thank you :)

When I got home from school I was welcomed with these beauties!
I've never seen such big roses! He definitely scored some brownie points and I was not expecting any gifts at all(we agreed no gifts) but I'll always accept flowers. :)

Since I was home earlier than I had planned we were able to go for a 4 mile run together which was great. He is the best running buddy. Not the typical thing most people do on an anniversary but hey it works for us.

Next we headed to dinner at Duke's Huntington Beach and it did NOT disappoint. I don't really like fish but I will eat Duke's fish. Everything there is good so you won't lose!
Fried Calamari=YUM!!
His Mai Tai and my "Tropical Itch" They were very tasty and very strong!
My parm crusted Opah! It's a very mild fish and is delicious!
His barramundi. It was a special and was a-maz-ing!
Of course, the HULA PIE! There's a coupon on the website for a free one!
I'm not even exaggerating the food was so good! Pricey but well worth it for an anniversary! And that Hula Pie...in heaven! It was a great anniversary night.

The rest of my weekend was spent studying anatomy for my first grad school midterm which was yesterday and why I didn't post. Over all I think it went well so I'm hoping for a good grade. :)

And for those of you who were wondering, no ring yet. I'm expecting one for a while and probably would have screamed if he proposed on Friday so I'm not disappointed :-p.

And speaking of engagements! My cousin got engaged on Sunday!! Yayyyy! I have yet to see a good picture of the ring or meet her fiance(that's weird to say lol) but from what I've heard from her parents he is a really good guy. They are thinking of waiting until 2013 for the wedding but I say hurry up!! I don't want to wait that long for her to get married!

Until tomorrow I'll leave you with this....
Sorry, couldn't help it. Had to share! 0:-)

Aw, happy anniversary!! I love that he got you flowers despite your "agreement". Smart guy ;)

That dessert is making me hungry, for real, and I do NOT need anymore sugar for pretty much a year.

Beautiful flowers! I can't believe you took a 4 mile run on your anniversary. That is NOT my idea of a fun event ;) haha. You'll get that ring! I say it's way better to happen on a non-occasion, because it'll be even more of a surprise!! I knew my ring was coming but I was still so shocked the day it happened - just a random Wednesday night eating out, not really anything out of the ordinary for us and it was perfect!

However, you and I both know, it’s so much easier said than done. I did end up losing all that weight, but I’ll admit that I was terrified about gaining it back, so I started restricting my food intake and doing way too much cardio. And I can’t tell you how many hours I spent starring at a mirror criticizing myself! Unfortunately, I ended up becoming bulimic.
