chic chandeliers

When I started pining chandeliers on Pinterest, I realized that I'm actually growing up. Kind of scary but true.  Who would have known that the moment that defined me realizing I'm really a "grown woman" was looking at things that hang from the ceiling?! You'd think it would be from buying a house or getting a credit card, neither of which I have done yet. But hey, to each her own right?

Anyways, I've come to appreciate that a chandelier can really add to a room. It can give a more refined vibe or add a punch of something unexpected to a room. Here are some that I've found, some out of the ordinary, some traditional, and a combo of both.

Sometimes even the room it's placed in can make a difference...like say this laundry room below. I would never have though to have a chandelier in a laundry room! What a cool room! I might actually enjoy laundry if it had a cool light fixture...well maybe.

I've found that I'm drawn to the crystal ones but I do love the antler one.  And even the crystal ones can be designed in such a unique, quirky way to liven up a room.
